New Croatian language course began
As part of the program of refugee integration in the Center for asylum seekers in Porin, Croatia, Croatian Baptist Aid started a new Croatian language course for the asylum seekers.
"Considering that the foundation for the quality integration is knowing the language, asylum seekers in Porin will have a chance to attend a Croatian language course three times a week" – shares director of CBAid, Toma Magda.
Beginner's course in Croatian language is meant for all the asylum seekers in Croatia. The course will cover basic Croatian language structures – basic grammar and vocabulary, exercises in reading, writing and pronunciation. All students will attend 140 hours of language course and attain basic language knowledge in order to communicate in simple social situation, use basic language structures and adequate vocabulary.
Croatian Ministry of Internal Affairs recognized the quality and successfulness of this course in Porin and they have given it their full support.
