EEA General secretary visits Croatia
Zagreb, May 17th, 2019 - General secretary of the European Evangelical Alliance, Mr. Thomas Bucher, and the Director of the our organization, Mr. Toma Magda, visited the Center for Asylum Seekers "Porin" in Zagreb, and spoke about the work of our organization.
our organization director, Toma Magda, together with the coordinator for the integration program, Mr. Željko Čanji, introduced Mr. Bucher to the work and ministry of our organization in Croatia and its challenges in ministering to the daily needs of refugees in Croatia.
Mr. Bucher commended the work of our organization, and stressed the importance of cooperation and networking on a regional and global level, while we continue serving the refugees.
They also touched upon the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the issues refugees are facing there. Mr. Magda introduced Mr. Bucher to the work that our organization is doing in B&H in the WASH sector.
