Hungarian Aid offers help to Croatia

Petrinja, December 31th, 2020 - Director of the Hungarian Aid, Mr. Bela Szilagyi, and our organization Director Toma Magda, visited areas affected by the earthquake and delivered necessary humanitarian aid

HBAid Director, Mr. Szilagyi, and his team delivered the necessary humanitarian aid to those affected by the earthquake in the Sisak-Moslavina County, and strengthened and assisted the our organization team in providing assistance and psychosocial support in the field.

The directors of the two humanitarian organizations held a series of meetings with government officials and the Crisis Coordination Headquarters, where they discussed establishing mutual cooperation and putting their capacities at the service of helping people in areas affected by devastating earthquakes.

Director Tom Magda expressed his gratitude to Mr. Szilagyi and HBAid, who have contributed to the development and unconditionally supported the humanitarian efforts of our organization in the refugee crisis in Croatia and BiH since the establishment of our organization.

The constructive and friendly relationship between the two organizations is an example of good practice of cooperation of organizations in the field, which not only provides support to local communities, but also contributes to the fulfillment of the mission - reducing human suffering.
