Nuncio D'Errico visits our organization
Zagreb, July 6th, 2017 – Apostolic nuncio’s meeting with the director of the humanitarian organization our organization
His Excellency, the Apostolic nuncio in the Republic of Croatia, Alessandro D’Errico, visited the headquarters of the humanitarian organization our organization in, Zagreb where he had a friendly conversation with the director of the organization, Toma Magda and the general secretary of the our founding partner, pastor Ċ½eljko Mraz. As this was also a farewell visit, because His Excellency D’Errico was named Apostolic nuncio in Malta, the participants spoke about the period of excellent cooperation between the and Roman Catholic church in the field of humanitarian work, especially during the migrant crisis in Croatia.
They talked about today’s needs and the problems of migrants and asylum seekers in Croatia, as well as the humanitarian work that our organization is doing daily in the center for the asylum and international protection seekers Porin, Zagreb.
The Nuncio commended the work of the our organization and the selfless help that the organization and its workers have been giving to the refugees; he also emphasized the importance of helping those people.
As a thank you for the visit, director Toma Magda gave His Excellency D’Errico an official shirt with the logo of the our organization as a gift and a token of remembrance of this meeting.
